Getting Down to Business



For those of you who know me know I am NOT a runner! Lately due to all my clothes becoming way to tight and just feeling blah I decided I was going to try this new iPhone app out. I have always thought of running as a great stress reliever it gives you 30-40 minutes out of your day to focus on you and only you it gives you time to clear your mind. Plus my friends an boyfriend wont have to listen to me gripe about feeling fat all the time (hopefully)

I started Week 1 day 1 yesterday and I am still alive! It's not to bad honestly! For the first couple of weeks you have a 30 minute routine 5 minute warm-up, 60 seconds of jogging followed by 90 seconds of walking for 20 minutes and then you have the 5 minute cool down the program lasts for 9 weeks and gradually increases intensity. Hopefully this will stick in my A.D.D. mind for a while! More on my success later :)

  1. Sounds like a great plan! 9 weeks will ease you into it so I'm sure you'll be successful! :)

    I'm not a big runner, but when the weather is nice (meaning no humidity...haha) I love taking a 30 minute run to just relieve some stress and just have some alone time.
